my “secret” masquerade costume is ozma, which anybody who has been around my site or my cosplaylab profile would know I’ve been planning on doing for a long time. Ash and I decided we wanted to keep it under wraps until dragoncon though, so I’ve stopped mentioning what it is. Anyway, I started on it back before akon but didn’t finish it. The dress is finished now (mostly, gotta attach the little collary thing down better)
I totally look pregnant in this costume, too. Haha I don’t care, because it is the MOST COMFORTABLE THING EVER. Plus it makes me act like a stupid little girl, it makes me run around and twirl and act like an idiot in general.
The tiara is underway… not finished enough that I could wear it for a picture.

poa hermione… I still need to add the closure on the cloak, and press the pleats in the skirt because they got kinda wonky after I dyed it and hemmed it. I may redye it though… I don’t think it got dark enough. (also, obviously, my hair isn’t curled in this picture)

Crap on the stairs up to the attic. On the banister would be leftover Ozma material I’ve been using to drive the cat crazy, and my Phoenix costume which is getting the front piece repaired. My Anna corset is also laying there waiting on repair. My Oz lunchbox… one red Asuka shoe which Ash is using for one of her costumes. A red box (no clue why that is there) a sketchbook, a bag with a lot of RIT dye in it, and some of dad’s sheet music. geez.
The sewing table… mom’s Menolly vest on the chair, the pieces of my Lessa costume on the table, and mom’s shirt for Menolly. I did the basic pants today but something went screwy so back to the drawing table…
The dining room table… with Ash’s mom’s sewing machine on it. The fabric for her hobbit costume on the back of the chair… Ash’s costume’s fabric on the table, along with more of my Lessa fabric.
